The Salah Foundation

The Salah Foundation is a private foundation that supports nonprofit organizations, by invitation only, in the United States that strengthen families and communities, and that advances individuals to become productive and responsible citizens. The Salah Foundation has a special interest in education, medical research, community development and self-sufficiency programs aimed at the economically is advantaged, the young, the elderly and the disabled.

With philanthropic investments from the Salah Foundation, the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Depression Center at CU Anschutz was able to recruit a community programs manager. Within just two years, more than 4,000 Coloradans benefited from lifesaving suicide prevention trainings made possible with the Salah Foundation’s support.

“We know the importance of having access to mental health resources and are happy to make these investments at the Johnson Depression Center. Our hope is that these efforts will rapidly reduce the suicide rate in Colorado.”
