Gates Frontiers Fund

This fund was established in memory of Charles C. Gates, who believed in the power of stem cell research and regenerative medicine. Through the fund, Charlie’s children Diane Gates Wallach and John Gates invest in high-risk, high-reward research that holds the promise of translating new discoveries from the laboratory into the clinical care environment.
